Top 20 Best Restaurants in Tokyo

Famous restaurant owned by the Iron chef Kenichi Chen, the speciality is the Mapo Tofu. The restaurant is in a good location at Shibuya on the 2F of the 5 star Cerulean Tower hotel. The decor is modern with white tablecloths, giving the restaurant a sophisticated atmosphere. There is a course menu and a la carte. We ordered the lunch course menu which comes with the choice of Mapo Tofu as the main. I am a big fan of Tofu and this was definitely the best Mapo Tofu I have tasted. The flavour was great, not overly hot and spicy and using silken tofu. The other dishes were also nice though the highlight is definitely the Mapo Tofu.

Lunch course with one beer JPY 5,000 per person. Japanese and Chinese menu only. There are also other branches of the restaurant around Tokyo, including one in Roppongi. You may also recognise the face of the Iron chef as he has his own range of frozen foods, including sui mai, available in most supermarkets.
